Experience Stockholm in an unique way

It will be an adventure of discovery in a living history with a bearing on the future. Our day sailings take us out of Stockholm's harbour towards Vaxholm. How far we sail depends on the weather and wind.

Experience the romance of yesteryear under sail with Stockholm Adventures in the beautiful Stockholm harbour!

The tour departs at 10:00 am from the Vasa Museum's wharf in central Stockholm. Embarkation is at latest 9:45 am. After a brief presentation by the ship's captain we will hoist anchor, unfurl sails and make way out into Stockholm's inlet.

Vega takes us out of Stockholm's harbour towards Vaxholm in the inner archipelago. How far we get depends on the weather and the wind. On our day sailing tours you and your comrades are the crew, overseen by our expert captain. Experience the thrill of travelling under sail on the historic schooner Vega. No prior experience required. Everyone can particiapate in setting sail and learning how to manuver a ship like this. Or just relax and enjoy the tour and the scenery. A shipmade lunch and "fika" (Swedish for refreshments and snacks) is served during the tour (vegetarian lunch alternative is also offered).

Return to Stockholm approximately 16 pm.

Clothing

Comfortable clothes and shoes (no sharp shoe heels are allowed on board). It is usually cold winds at sea even in summer so bring a warm jacket as well.
