We'll help give you access to the wild and wonderful nature which exists in and around Stockholm. There is so much to do! Paddle, hike, sail and bike - with us you'll find your your little piece of paradise away from the tourist tracks. With us the adventure becomes reality.

Stockholm Adventures' unique selection of eco-tours are centred in and around beautiful Lake Mälaren and the breathtaking Stockholm Archipelago. We provide regular small group programmes, tailored private tours, day excursions as well as self-guided tours.

Whether by kayak, canoe, trekking, bicycle or other natural mode of transport - it's all the same. None of our tours require special skills or knowledge.

Canoeing, kayaking, hiking, sailing, wildlife safaris, cross-country ice skating, guided nature walks, bicycle sightseeing and much more that is within reach of Stockholm by train and bus. We are specialists in arranging adventures for private groups or companies.

It can be in rugged and pristine forest, amongst the islands and skerries of our unique archipelago, in beautiful areas of Stockholm's city... or anywhere in between. We don't arrange events and entertainment – others can do that better than us. Nor do we offer experiences where the main attraction is motor driven.

Stockholm – The Adventure Capital

Stockholm, the beautiful “Capital of Scandinavia”, is based on water. Perhaps Stockholm’s most distinctive quality is the interplay between the city and the wild nature which surrounds and traverses it. You are always close to nature in Stockholm. During 2010 Stockholm is the first city to be awarded European Green Capital by the European Commission.

Stockholm Archipelago is a sea kayaking paradise offering something for everyone with its whispering pine trees, smooth islets and colourful orchid meadows. There are over 25,000 islands and smaller skerries just in the area around Stockholm, which have risen slowly after the last ice age some 10,000 years ago.

Stockholm is the ideal setting for a combination of adventure and city life.
